Tι είναι ένα Πρόγραμμα Εθελοντισμού (workcamp);


Τι είναι ένα international workcamp;
Ένα international workcamp είναι ένα πρόγραμμα εθελοντικής εργασίας,
στο οποίο συμμετέχουν νέοι από όλο τον κόσμο.

Πότε “τρέχουν” τα international workcamps;
Τα international workcamps “τρέχουν” όλο το χρόνο σε όλο τον κόσμο.

Ποια είναι η γλώσσα εργασίας;
Η γλώσσα εργασίας είναι τα αγγλικά ή τα γαλλικά . Σε κάποια προγράμματα είναι χρήσιμη η βασική γνώση της τοπικής γλώσσας.

Ποια είναι η διάρκεια ενός international workcamp;

Ένα international workcamp διαρκεί 2-3 εβδομάδες


Πόσοι εθελοντές συμμετέχουν σε ένα international workcamp;
Ο μέσος όρος συμμετοχής είναι 9-10 άτομα.


Ποια είναι η ηλικία των εθελοντών;
Οι εθελοντές είναι ενήλικοι, στην πλειονότητα μέχρι 30 ετών


Ποιο είναι το αντικείμενο ενός international workcamp;
Υπάρχουν κοινωνικά (SOCIO), οικολογικά (ΕCO) και προγράμματα προστασίας κληρονομίας (RENO)

Πόσες ώρες την ημέρα θα εργάζομαι; Οι εθελοντές εργάζονται 4-6 ώρες την ημέρα, εκτός ΣΚ.
Εξαρτάται από την κατά τόπον οργάνωση

Θα πληρωθώ για την εργασία μου;
Η εργασία σου είναι άμισθη, εθελοντική.

Ποιος πληρώνει το κόστος μετάβασης;
Το κόστος μετάβασης επιβαρύνει τον εθελοντή.

Μπορούμε να διανυκτερεύσουμε εκτός workcamp;
Εξαρτάται από τους κανόνες που ακολουθεί κάθε οργάνωση.


Πληρώνω για διαμονή και διατροφή;
Οι εθελοντές έχουν δωρεάν διαμονή και σίτιση.

Είμαι ασφαλισμένος σε περίπτωση ασθένειας ή ατυχήματος? Στους εθελοντές παρέχονται πρώτες βοήθειες.
Οι εθελοντές καλούνται να προμηθευτούν την ευρωπαϊκή κάρτα ασφάλισης από τον ασφαλιστικό τους φορέα.

Τι είναι το τέλος συμμετοχής; Οι εθελοντές πληρώνουν ένα τέλος συμμετοχής στην οργάνωση αποστολής.
Κάποιες τοπικές οργανώσεις ενδεχομένως να ζητούν ένα extra fee το οποίο οφείλει να καταβάλει ο εθελοντής κατά την άφιξη του στο τόπο του προγράμματος

Ποιο το τέλος συμμετοχής? Το τέλος συμμετοχής είναι 120 Ευρώ για προγράμματα εξωτερικού.

What is an "international workcamp"?

An internternational workcamp is a project of voluntary work,carried out by young people who come from different countries all around the world.

How long time lasts an "international workcamp"?

An international workcamp lasts two or three weeks and takes place during
the Summer time (usually July and August).


How many people can take part in the same "international workcamp"?

The total number of the participants is between 10-15 people per workcamp.
All groups of volunteers are mixted (men & women).

What is the age of the volunteers?

The age of the volunteers is between 18-27 years old.

What are the different types of voluntary work?

The voluntary project can deal with social affaires (SOC), environmental affaires
(ECO), construction or renovation projects (CON & RENO), cultural affaires (CUL)

How many hours of voluntary work?

Regularly, the voluntary work lasts 4-5 hours per day, except Sundays.

What volunteers can do the rest of the day and on Sundays?

During the rest of the day, volunteers have the possibility to visit different places, monuments,
archeological sites or to take part in local cultural activities.
On Sundays, excursions in nearby cities or islands could be organised.

Is it possible to sleep outside the camp?Sleeping outside the camp is forbidden, for security reasons.


What about the cost of accommodation and food supplies?Volunteers have FREE accommodation and FREE meals (3 meals per day).

Do volunteers pay something for?Volunteers pay the price of their tickets (to come in Greece) and a participation fee.


Why volunteers pay a participation fee?
The participation fee covers part of our administration cost."


Do volunteers receive a certification for their participation in an "international
workcamp"?

After the end of each project, volunteers receive a 'Youthcamp Certification' for their voluntary work.


What should volunteers bring with them?

Volunteers have to bring with: a)identity card (for EU citizens) or passport (not EU citizens)
b)mobile phone, c) insurance certification, d) summer (open colour) clothes, e)sport shoes.(In case of playing any music instrument, do not hesitate to bring it with).


What should volunteers not bring with them?

Volunteers shouldn't bring with them drugs, arms etc.".

Why taking part in an "international workcamp"?

Because you have the opportunity:
a) to help local communities to deal with different problems,
b) to meet people from other countries,
c) to make long-term friendships.,
d) to visit a different country with a low budget

If everything gets globalised, why not the solidarity?
